I'm a 15 year old girl and every night i go to sleep i hope that i will not wake up. I hate my life, i hate my personality, i hate my appearance and i hate my personality. Yes they do need a supportive adult who is going to be a part of their lives continually whilst they are in care. It does not need to be their social worker, just someone who shows that not all adults are temporary fixtures in their life. Imagine the impact on a child's self esteem of not being with their parents, being in a new place and possibly a new school and having to move foster homes. Can I clip lilacs and plant them?

Lilacs can be propagated from root sprouts, by layering, by cuttings, and by cleft and bud grafts. Each method has its advantages and disadvantages in time and degree of difficulty. The easiest methods for the home gardener are root sprouts and layering, using a named variety. Growing lilacs from seed is not recommended. Because most lilacs are hybrids, plants grown fromseed will not produce plants just like the parent plant. Few seedlings are worthy of a place in the home garden. Root sprouts. Root sprouts provide the simplest and most usual way of propagating the common lilac. Some lilacs send out suckers near the base ofthe plant. Dig up these new sprouts in the fall and transplant them elsewhere in the garden or in a nursery. They often develop into satisfactory plants in about 3 years. This method, however, will not be satisfactory for grafted plants, because the suckers will not be like the tops of the plants. Look for a graft union near the soil line to determine if a plant is grafted. Layering is an easy, but slow process for increasing lilac plants in the home garden. The new plants are identical to the parent, even if the parent plant was grafted. It is a satisfactory method of propagation for the home gardener with limited equipment and time. Layering is most successful in spring or late summer, since cool weather is an aid to rooting. Start layering by working peat or leaf mold and sand into the soil where the branch is to be layered. Next, make a slanting 2 inch cut on the upper side of the branch about a foot from the tip. Dust rooting stimulant on the cut. Bend the branch down, and fasten it to the ground at a point between the trunk and the wound. Use a wooden peg or wire wicket, or simply weigh it down securely with a stone. Bend the tip upright at the wound, and as you do, twist the tip a half turn to open it. Then place another peg or pin over the branch at the point of the wound, and mound 3 or 4 inches of firmly packed soil over the wound. Place straw or leaf mulch on the mound, and water frequently. If you layer in the spring, the branch should develop roots by the following spring. If you layer in the fall, roots will develop by the second spring. You can remove the screen after the first winter. By then, plants should be strong enough to transplant from the nursery to their permanent locations. Cutting, cleft and bud grafts. Cuttings, cleft grafts, and bud grafts are still other methods of propagating lilacs. You can root lilac cuttings fromsuckers at the base of an older plant for use as understock. Spoiled Parrotlet.. what to do???

I read on a site that birds like spray millet, so I decided to put it in my parrotlets cage. Now he wont eat anything but the spray millet!!! Once it's stripped clean I remove the twig and wait a couple days to see if he touches his food, he dosent... He screams and screams until I put more millet in. Is this stuff even nutritious enough for him? Any ideas to get him to like more food than that?

Honestly, the hair straightener specifically doesnt matter, more of the way you do it. Try spending a little more time just running the straightener through your hair then brush it out. Also, If you dont already blow dry your hair before straightening/leaving it curly, do that while running a hairbrush through it! It makes a humungous difference! Also, whenever your just hanging just take a brush and brush your hair. IT makes it amazingly soft:) I garuntee you this will work! Good luck!

I'm in an advanced science cl and we have to have a project to take to the science fair. It needs to be on something in an upper high school or lower college level. So my biology teacher has a pet leopard gecko and I was thinking (uming she gives me permission) about doing a project with him. He wouldn't be allowed at the science fair, but that would be ok. And because I detest the idea of animal testing, I would NOT be testing directly on him. okay so my knees are very dark and i have a very light skin tone its like the color of carmel and then my knees look like the color of a milk choclate hershy bar. this is very embarrasing so i purchased meladerm. in about 3 weeks i noticed a skin color difference on my knees they were about 2 or 3 shades lighter. but they were still very dark. also i am supposed to avoid mosquito bites or just getting bruised because if i do when it heals it leaves a dark spot the same color as my knees so i put the meladerm on the spots too and it did nothing for the spots. i was trying to avoid hydroquone products but its getting to close to to the summer and i will not go to my 8th grade graduation with my legs lookin the way they are. to look and see how perfect alll the other girls look incluing my friends would be a nightmare so now i dont care if it has hydroquone i just want the discoloration on my knees gone and the terrible mosquoto bruised dark spots gone and i am so sick of getting discuted looks from people when i wear a swimmsuit because of my legs because the think my knees are just dirty.its not far i have super long legs and i good body shape but during the summer no guy or girl would want to talk to me because of these so noticeable flaws so i need a strong product that works quickly something that will have them gone by june 9th thats the day of the 8th grade graduation and the dance where i have to dress up and stuff and if i cant get them to go away i will stay at home and dream my own 8th grade graduation. but i realy dont want that so someone please help

Day off school, advice?

I know how you feel! I'm currently doing my GCSE's too and it's probably the most stressful time of my life so far. It feels like it will never end, and obviously it doesn't help if you have problems with your 'friends' too. I sometimes feel like i need a break from it, but in reality you will just end up wanting to take more and more time off, which is bad for your attendance record. You could say you have period pain or a headache if you really don't feel like going, but there's really not much point. What i would do is just be strong and face the day (take it one day at a time), try to avoid being around those people who make you feel bad, and concentrate on why your there: to p your exams and make yourself proud. You are in charge of your own life, and not them! Also when you come back from school i would go for a jog or walk everyday to de stress and sort out you head. This is what i do, and trust me it works! Good luck and stay focused on yourself and your work, NOT them :) You can do it, even if its a pain lol :) x

I am 27 y/o and 31 weeks pregnant with my first child. The cirstances surrounding my pregnancy weren't ideal to say the least. The father stopped contacting me completely after I refused an abortion and I haven't heard/seen him since Oct. 2009. He also abandoned me in our 2 bedroom leased apartment. I have moved in with my parents to get back on my feet and so far my pregnancy has progressed well. I have accepted that asides from forced child support through the courts, the father will have no active role in my son's life or mines. I often read where single (unwed) mothers are devastated after being left pregnant and how some invest years and years vying for the father's support and attention. The ending usually is the same---the father has moved on, started his "real" family and basically adopts an "out of mind, out sight" attitude towards his child and child's mother. I want to save myself years of denial and heartache by getting strong now and accepting this reality in order to be the best mother for my son and eventually meet a man who will want to marry me. I guess, I just want to be reured that I can be a bitter-less, anger-less single mother with a happy ending, instead of being stuck in the rut of how "wronged" I felt by the child's father.

Old weird sci fi movie

Movie is a bit odd. It's about this young guy who wants to build the perfect girl out of spare parts. It's not "weird science" I think this young guy kills alot of the girls. In one scene he puts this leg into this girls room where they are having a slumber party and it zooms around in there room and then I think it kills them all or something. At the end of the movie he creates the girl and I think she ends up running away or something. I know it doesn't have a happy ending. Your not going to be able to do anything extreme. Seems to me it's a casual ride. If you take it out on advanced trails it might last only a couple of trips. It's a bike mainly used for straight rugged terrain with not allot of bumps and hard curves and big jumps. So, I would not ride this bike at all. Plus its a throw away bike. If something happen to the bike and you needed to fix it your going to have a hard time finding parts for it. I would go to an actual mtb dealership, see what brands they have and buy the cheapest bike on shelf, since your being a tight wad. Or u can see if the brand the shop is carrying is cheaper online.

I had one of my bottom wisdom teeth extracted 4 days ago, i didn't think ther was any problem at first, i got alot of swelling and bruising which was expected but i have been having a strange taste in my mouth since yesterday which is not tcp thing that he packed the wound out with before putting the stiches in, ive just took a closer look and i think there is a hole in my gum that hasnt been stitched properly, its pretty painfull, do u think i need to go back or will it heal on its own? i'm scared to eat incase something gets in there!

1992 Honda VT1100C intermittent starting problem - Battery?

The bike was not starting at all and wouldn't turn over most of the time, but sometimes would. I put in a new battery and had the same problem, so I took it to the shop and they replaced the regulator/rectifier. Now the bike has been starting fine until today when it didn't start on the first try. I tried again and then the same slow turning over / dead battery feeling. I turned off the ignition then waited a few seconds, turned back on the ignition then it started right away. I'm concerned that something else may be going on, and I have a big trip coming up at the end of the month. I don't want to get stranded. Any ideas? - Thanks

Okay, so I have been living in Long Beach in a beautiful home with my parents my whole life. My dad cannot afford the house anymore so he's moving to a cheaper house in Corona. The house they're going to buy is an hour away from my school and my boyfriend's work. I also hate it there; it's the most disgusting house and neighborhood I have ever seen and it's extremely depressing. I also cannot live with my father anymore, I do not want anything to do with him. My father is a horrible man who thinks about only himself. After we had the house payed off he forced my mom to sign papers to get a mortgage on the house. It turns out he gambled at his work and lost $200,000. Then, he forced my mom to take out all of my college fund money that my grandma had been saving for me, which was $60,000. He was supposed to send it to the bank so they could lower the house payments, and instead he kept it and used it to make the monthly payments, which obviously makes no sense because what was he going to do when he runs out of money? Well, the payments are $1250 a month, but he somehow spent $60,000 in about 6 months. Not to mention that he treats me like sh*t, not even like his daughter more like someone that he hates supporting and thinks that I owe him something even though he spends more money on cigarettes than he does on me. He also treats my sister a million times better than me because she works, even though she's a 21 year old city college drop out who works a job with absolutely no future. But yet I have my whole future already planned out and went from getting horrible grades in school to getting straight A's my whole senior year. I could go on for hours, but the point is that I cannot live with him unless it's my last resort. There's going to be about $15,000 left from the house, and my mom said she was going to give it to me so I can rent out an apartment or condo until I finish school. I would really like to live in a house because I am going to have a baby soon and I think it is more appropriate. I wanted to know if it would make sense to put $15,000 down on a small home in a so-so neighborhood, and from there maybe we would share the house with my boyfriend's brother and his small family, and he would pay most of the mortgage since my mom put the down payment. My boyfriend wouldn't be able to pay a mortgage because he only makes $2,000 a month, and I would like to focus on school and taking care of my daughter. My other option is to use the $15,000 to live in an apartment until I finish high school (which will be in august if everything goes well), or until the money runs out, and then go live with my parent's in Corona temporarily until I get my AA and my boyfriend finishes trade school. I have been on prednisone for 1 1/2 month due to a medical condition that I developed. That that I am ok and the dr has taken me off I have gained so much weight with it. I have ordered Pilates equipment and video and etc but as far as diet I don't know what to eat or what. I have never had a weight problem so this is all new to me. If anyone has any suggestions of a diet or food to stay from or whatever please let me know. I am wanting to lose about 30-40 lbs that I gained. I am very determined also.
