Questions about the editorial cartoon and its dangers?

This is really a difficult cartoon to defend. At best, they are describing the death of Nancy Pelosi. But the two events really don't have anything to do with each other and it's very difficult for the average person to connect the dots without drawing either the violent or racist conclusion.
