Spoiled Parrotlet.. what to do???

I read on a site that birds like spray millet, so I decided to put it in my parrotlets cage. Now he wont eat anything but the spray millet!!! Once it's stripped clean I remove the twig and wait a couple days to see if he touches his food, he dosent... He screams and screams until I put more millet in. Is this stuff even nutritious enough for him? Any ideas to get him to like more food than that?
