How do I deal my 22yr. old boyfriend?

I'm age 27, my boyfriend is 22, turning 23yrs. old in October. Younger men is ABSOLUTELY NOT my thing but since this one appeared to be very mature, charming, responsible, I decided to give him a try. He's great with his son, nice job, independent and sweet to me. He'd visit me at my job 2x's a week and everyone could see how tight he & I were. When he doesn't answer my calls or text message, I'll question him why he doesn't reply promptly. He used to call me everyday, text me everyday. For atleast 3-4days, this retard wouldn't answer me, so I left a message telling him "I don't know why your phone is turned off but WHATEVER", he didn't reply. I texted asking him what is his problem, still no reply. My BFF told me to not give him an attitude and try asking him nicely. Wow! He actually replied saying it wasn't about although he didn't like the messages I've left. So why couldn't he address the issue the minute it happened, why 4 days later? To remind you, he's only 22!!! What do I do because I'm a 5'7 model who favors Halle Berry and Stacey Dash, I know I can have any man I want but if this relationship is worth saving, I need help and an answer!!????/
