How can you find out if a deceased parent still has shares somewhere?

I received a distribution payment from the PSI Distribution fund. On the site that it directed me to, www.psidistributionfund.com, it states "As part of the settlement, the Respondent has established the PSI Distribution Fund ("Fund") for the benefit of shareholders who may have been affected by the deceptive market timing activity in certain mutual funds where such trading was found to have been facilitated by the Respondent, as described in the Order." Is it possible that she still has shares there? It's only a check for $11.30, but I'm curious to know how I could find out more information about all this as I'm completely clueless in the world of stocks and what not. I was also wondering if it's possible that she has shares elsewhere too.
