Does this sounds stupid?

I really like the imagery in this. And I really like the image of a person standing, alone, in a vast plain of lost opportunities-- I mean, isn't that what it feels like? Like you are lost, with no idea of where to turn, just the haunting knowledge or fear that you may have gone past a point of no return.
