Why do illegals feel the laws do not apply to them police Impounding Cars of Undoented Immigrants?

I don't think that they are above the law, but I do feel that this practice is not legal for the reason that if the undoented person was not stopped for driving DUI or carrying drugs or weapons, then the car should not be impounded, because there are no grounds to do so. Now if these undoented drivers do not have a legal license, then I would say, yes, because when you drive without a license or an expired license you can get your car impounded.
